OPPLE’s 2015 International Lighting Summit was an event for the books. With over 80 customers present from 30 different countries, this was the largest dealer meeting in OPPLE IBU history. The summit took place from June 3rd-5th at the Shanghai Marriott Hotel Parkview. Attendees were able to connect with other dealers as well as key OPPLE employees, visit several distributor stores, and travel to Wujiang for factory and R&D site visits.
The meeting resulted in successfully establishing relationships with new dealers—a group that accounted for 20% of the overall orders made during the summit. These are huge partnerships that represent the future growth potential and success OPPLE anticipates in the international market.
Beyond accelerating cooperation with our dealers, OPPLE had the chance to reveal new products and promotions. Total 22 new products families introduced at the meeting were met with great interest and enthusiasm. It was exciting for OPPLE to present its latest innovations and it gave our customers the chance to see what we are doing to contribute to the future of LED lighting.
Speakers from OPPLE China trade retail and e-commerce channel took the stage to share insights from the most traditional and newest value chain. Both business units shared their thoughts on efficiency and effectiveness in business model approaches in an effort to inspire and energize oversea dealers.
IBU General Manager, Tim Yun Chen, addressed event attendees and spoke to the significance of these projections. He said, “The technological shift occurring in the lighting industry presents a huge opportunity to capture market share for major LED lighting manufacturers. It is time for OPPLE to make big moves in the international lighting area and seize as much of this rapidly expanding market as possible. Though OPPLE is incredibly strong in China, it will take the support and effort of every single one of you to expand that success internationally.”
Madam Ma, Founder and CEO of OPPLE,gave customers a welcoming speech that shared OPPLE’s vision to become a strong global lighting brand. She said,“Dreams, willpower, and persistence are in the DNA of OPPLE. We are working hard to innovate, establish an international brand presence, and optimize our design and costs to be the most competitive international lighting provider.”She went on to address dealers directly stating, “Lighting is our commoninterest and shared career path.
