Myanmar Dealer Meeting

OPPLE and Farmer Phoyarzar held a dealer meeting for the Southeast Asia region in Yangon, Myanmar.Attendees from 5 different countries were present at the eventincluding Cambodia, Vietnam, Laos and Thailand. Southeast Asia is a key region for OPPLE’s international expansion.

The meeting centered on the theme of “Let’s grow together” and kicked off accelerated LED growth in 2015. Educational product seminars and strategic discussions provided event attendees with necessary product information and aligned dealers throughout the region. Establishing a shared knowledge base and a set of common goals helps OPPLE and Farmer Phoyarzar ensure successfully coordinated efforts.

 

 

OPPLE Sales Director for Asia, Liluo Ma, spoke about his experience at the event commenting on OPPLE’s commitment to the region. He says, “We are determined to bring an increasing amount of high quality LED lighting to customers in the region. We will continue to provide information about the value of good lighting and meet the needs and demands of our customers.”

The highlight of the day was the broad range of professional luminaires and home LED lighting solutions presented at the event. Models showcased the newest LED products in a catwalk show, adding an element of style and intrigue to the presentation. OPPLE’s tunable LED Shining Moon luminaire received a significant amount of praise and attention from event attendees. The meeting successfully brought together customers and distributors in the region. OPPLE was able to connect with over 100 new, first time customers and continue to expand its market opportunities in Southeast Asia.

Chairman of Farmer Phoyarzar, MyoHtwe, discussed the future of his company’s partnership with OPPLE in the region. He says, “Our ambition is to define the LED lighting market in Myanmar. The space is growing at a rapid pace as part of the global switch to LED. We will continue to meet customer demand for quality LED products.”

OPPLE currently has dedicated retail stores in three of Myanmar’s major cities including Yangon, Mandalay and Naypyidaw. Additionally, there are around 100 OPPLE dealers throughout the country. OPPLE’s ambition is to reach 10% market share in Myanmar by the end of 2015.
